The "Burning Desire" label tells a fiery tale from Lake Chelan's past. In the late 1930s, miners from the Holden mine would row across the lake to visit a brothel at Point Lovely's Edgemont Lodge. When their wives discovered these escapades, they retaliated by setting the brothel ablaze. This dramatic event is captured on the label, which depicts a burning brothel, and the back of the bottle features the quote: "Hell hath no fury like a woman scorned".
